ACE BUCHAN

Adrian “Ace” Buchan grew up on the Central Coast of New South Wales where he began surfing at a very young age. Eventually honing his natural talent to become a 2x Australian Pro Junior Champion, Ace then graduated to the World Championship Tour where his world class tube riding ability and incredible backhand attack saw him win elite level events at both Teahupo'o in Tahiti and Hossegor, France.

While his personal style is more understated and conservative, Ace's community involvement is incredibly noteworthy. He plays an active role in various non-profit organizations including Inspire Foundation, Reach Out and has published a children’s book titled “Macka’s Barrel into the Dreamtime.” He is well-liked and admired both in and out of the water by his peers and has made it abundantly clear that his positive influence on the sport will continue well into the future. In his free time Ace enjoys fishing, training, reading and playing table tennis.
